In this regard, the project planned to provide 500 existing women led Self-Help Group (SHG) members, each group with 25 members, the unique chance to transform their position in the agricultural sector.
By making them owner of women friendly agri-tools and starting a rental business to get more ownership on labor, their business and their assets without doing hazardous physical work using indigenous tools that costs a lot of time and energy.

Harvesting with a threshing machine takes only 1 hour compared to 8 hours done by manually/hands. A motorized plough prepares the land in 4 hours instead of the normal 2 days of hard work is equal. It increases productivity and, also improves soil quality because machines work more accurately and less damaging. Therefore, at the end of project 12,500 women will be empowered economically and at the same time they are working conditions also improved, women can save time during the harvesting time and use the saved time for other productive and family purposes.
